I started using My Sport Training in January of 2002. At that time, I was just
starting to work out – a few minutes at a time, a few times a week. I used the program
to help me keep track of what I was doing, and how many calories I was burning up. As
anyone that has struggled with weight knows, you have to track how much you are taking
in along with what you are expending. I purchased the food program (MySportTraining Food
– now known as My Personal Diet) as soon as it was available. From that time on, these
programs have been my constant companions. I have them on my desktop and pocket pc.
MySportTraining is also now on my iPhone, and if/when My Personal Diet is released for
the iPhone, I will be the first in line to purchase it. With these programs, I can input
my food as I eat, and upload my workouts as soon as I am done (running 3.5 miles 5
mornings a week now). I always know where I am during the day. Can I have a second
helping? Do I have the calories left? How much farther would I need to run to burn off
that treat? These help me make decisions. I have lost over 100 pounds, and kept it
off for years. I'm happy.
My doctor is happy. I also know I couldn't have done it
(and maintain the loss) without MySportTraining and MyPersonalDiet. If you try and track
this stuff in your head, you underestimate calories in and over estimate calories
burned. MySportTraining lays it all out for you. And, with it being on the desktop, on
my iPhone, and on my pocket pc, it is always there with me. On a side note, I have
also used Weight Calc, and My Health Registry since it was released. My Health Registry
has always been a great program to help me keep track of my yearly doctor’s
appointments. Also, I have two medications that I take, and blood work every four months
to make sure the dosage is still correct. My Health Registry is invaluable for keeping
track of my various blood counts so I can work with my doctor to be sure everything is
normal. It’s great to have all that information in one place.
