Backup and restore your GymNow data on your computer (PC or Mac) via WiFi,
for free!
GymNow 1.3 and
MyCheckUp 1.4 comes with a
backup/restore feature that works with iSafe. From GymNow and MyCheckUp, you can initiate a
backup to store the data in a file on your computer, or you can restore the data
from a backup file on your computer. This is an indispensable companion for
both applications. To install:
- Download and unzip the file, then launch iSafe.
To make a backup:
- Start iSafe. Note that the computer address and a port number
is shown.
- Also note the directory where the backup files are saved. You can
change it if you prefer.
- In GymNow 1.3 or MyCheckUp 1.4 or newer, tap About > Backup/Restore, enter the computer
address and port number shown in iSafe, and tap Backup.
- iSafe will display the name of the file in which the data was saved.
To make a restore:
- Start iSafe and select the file that will be used for the restore.
- In GymNow 1.3 or MyCheckUp 1.4 or newer, tap About > Backup/Restore, enter the
computer address and port number shown in iSafe, and tap Restore.
Tip:
- Make sure WiFi is turned on and
that your iPhone (or iPod Touch) is connected
via WiFi to the
same network than your PC or Mac computer.
